WHY I GAVE UP ON SUNDAY!
The only time I ever heard a booming voice in my head saying, "this is the way" it was often a misguiding light from Satan. GOD speaks but NOT WITH an echoing voice out of television's many lies, or other worldly sources He speaks to us softly. (1Kings 19:11-12) And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
God speaks but we don't always listen. Even Christians who have been involved in Christianity for years don't always do what is right. It is easy to fall from the truth and become involved in lies. I know from personal experience what it is to fall away. I gave a presentation in church on January 30th, 2010 and God made an example of me. I fell shortly afterward to my own folly. What I fell from was what I mentioned in the presentation and GOD made an example of me. One friend said, "you know you can't do what you do all alone?" I responded, "no we can only do it through Jesus." I commented about falling without Jesus in my presentation and sure as ever I fell to the floor right after the presentation was over. I later missed communion at church and I am glad I did because that would have been my bitter end, because it would have been my lies at the cup of Christ. God showed me my folly and Satan's blinding power and seeds of discouragement. I am learning the power of words to heal or to destroy. In words I submitted a letter of repentance not in church but rather to the entire world. I said I was wrong for the mistakes of my life and that I created my own madness. Truth is strong Christians can fall if we lose sight of Jesus Christ. Satan was gaining victory in my life as I fell from the LORD not believing the promises of the Holy Bible. In a moment I was ready to drop all web sites and my entire ministry at the crimp of a staple. That may not make sense right now, because you would have to read, "Carving New Stones," written by myself, Dale Lee Gordon below. Let me say something first. I was baptized the very first time at Shasta Lake Bible Fellowship and I still resisted the church. I knew I was in trouble and I needed to be baptized because Satan was out to destroy me. In the water I believe I even said this is for Christ not for the church. Now I feel otherwise, for years I resisted ever saying I belonged to a certain church because I wasn't convinced of the truth yet. During prison's nightmare I hunted for the right church and GOD always brought me to the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Many times I nearly quit this church and walked away but I was wrong. GOD's day is in fact the Sabbath day. Not all churches lead to Christ, and not all pastors are right. A Pastor named Dennis Pumford did massive research as did I and God gave him the truth. You know why it is true because the seminar was free and we invited everyone. Some charge for the gospel even if they are lies but the truth is often free. Now I know the truth and I am a Seventh Day Adventist and I believe in the Sabbath truth. GOD is right and I am sticking to GOD and I adhere to GOD's word here at Shasta Lake Bible Fellowship. Shasta Lake Bible Fellowship is a good church that teaches love, not at 120 decibels in your ears, and people don't run around waving flags and banners, we don't cry out prophecy, or speak in tongues, but we do preach GOD's Word the Holy Bible and hold it as GOD's authority both Old and New Testaments. There is a small metal box located near the door, there are no flashing lights above it, and you can almost miss it, but it is there and we rarely ever give a reference to it. That is our tithe box, and that my friends is the reason I quit Sunday churches all together and I just removed all the links off all my other sites. You want the truth it's not answered at high decibels or in the passing of a money bag. The answer is in Christ Jesus and Jesus Christ alone and we teach Jesus Christ here at Shasta Lake Bible Fellowship in Shasta Lake City, California. I nearly put a banner below until I realized God's word does not come at 120 decibels. Something else about Sunday Church: I was conned manipulated and abused by a Sunday Pastor when I was seriously ill. This Sunday keeping pastor took in excess of $35,000.00 dollars not to mention being later conned by a Catholic who lied and used me as well. Today I find all the truth and love and joy in the Adventist Church. I have studied the Bible and I know that the Adventist Church is GOD's chosen church. I have been loved and respected by Shasta Lake Bible Fellowship. People in our congregation have treated me kind and have given me things I needed. While there are bad apples in church if you steer to the good people in church the regular attendies most of them are very loving. I think you will find by studing with the adventists you will learn Bible truths and learn the joy of serving a risen King LORD Jesus Christ. AMEN...
